Ending Explanation

The film’s end reveals unexpected information about the evil spirit haunting the house. The party represented Kannappan’s father, whom Perumal, a local politician, brutally murdered 20 years earlier. Perumal planned and hired assassins to take Kannappan’s father’s land. 

Kannappan’s father’s ghost stayed in the house to get revenge on Perumal and the other break-ins. Because Kannappan forgot his parents, the spirit said he failed to protect him. The energy used the holy land house’s magic to trick and kill people. Kannappan and Priya bonded with the house and knew the ghosts were lying, but the angry spirit chased them.

After Father Joseph got rid of the ghost, Kannappan and Priya left the haunted house. The energy told Kannappan and Priya he was sorry, left the area peacefully, and felt terrible about his actions. At the movie’s end, the authorities tear down the haunted house while Kannappan and Priya get married and move.
